Detail
Creek produces long slender nuts beginning at a young age yielding about 54 nuts per pound. Creek has a moderate scab resistance and tends to be an easy keeper for most disease and insect problems. Harvest date of Creek is usually earlier than other cultivars, trending to an early October time frame. The tree is a Type-1 pollinator and should be pollinated with a Type-2 pecan tree (we recommend Desirable). At maturity, it can reach a height between 75 ft. to 100 ft. with a 50 ft. to 75 ft. spread. It is shipped in a 4x4x10 pot with a minimum height of 12 inches and is hardy in USDA zones 6-9.
