A beautiful tree in the landscape. Trees are narrow pyramidal in form. The foliage (needles) is short, deep glossy green with 2 white bands on the underside of each needle. Mature height is 40 ft. to 70 ft. tall and 20 ft. to 25 ft. spread. Useful as a specimen tree, especially in cold northern climates. Grow in full sun or light shade in acidic moist well-drained soil. USDA hardiness zone 3 to zone 5.
