Elana Taro, Colocasia esculenta Elana, is special species of taro with bright mottled chartruese 20 in. leaves on thick stems. As it matures, Elana may develop a purple eye and purply stems. Its unique mottled foliage makes a great contrast to the darker taros. Very easy to grow in ponds or containers. Tender bulbs need to be overwintered indoors in colder climates and lifted/removed at the first frost.
