The Little Gem Magnolia is the perfect tree for your yard if you are seeking a smaller version of the evergreen magnolia without sacrificing any of the usual beauty. Little Gem is 1 of the most unique magnolias. Its white flowers are simply stunning against the green foliage. The Little Gem reaches a height between 20 ft. to 25 ft. with a spread of 8 ft. to 12 ft. and has a slow growth-rate. The Little Gem is recognized for its prolific flowering that lasts 6-months of the-year, from May through October. It can begin flowering in as little as 2-years. The Little Gem Magnolia produces large, fragrant, creamy white, saucer shaped flowers that are 8 in. Dia. The Little Gem has beautiful shaped oblong leaves that are stiff and leathery with a deep glossy green color on top and a bronze-brown fuzzy underside. It tends to bloom more than the Bracken Brown Beauty. It is often used as a standout landscape specimen, to add evergreen beauty near decks and patios, as a floral screen or hedge, and in large containers. Little Gem is hardy to 5°. USDA ZONES: Zone 7, Zone 8, Zone 9, Zone 10.
