45° Slip Elbow Fitting for Schedule 40 PVC Pipe (Slip x Slip): Sometimes you need to join 2 pipes that form a 45° angle or make a 45° turn. Schedule 40 PVC 45 ells are designed to turn the flow of a liquid at a 45° angle. If both ends of your pipe have smooth ends, you would use a 45 slip elbow. Both pipe ends are glued or cemented into the elbow, forming a 45° turn or joint. All of our Schedule 40 fittings are NSF rated 14 and 61, which means they are certified for use with potable (drinking) water. Maximum temperature is 140°F. Color: White.
