Fabric grow bags feature air pruning because when roots meet the edge of the fabric pot, they feel the dry soil exposed to the air. At this point, they know theyve hit the limit of growth. The roots become air pruned, which is essential for growing healthy plants in containers. You also get more fibrous roots when you air trim. A fibrous root system (many small root tips) allows the plant to absorb more nutrients and water. Fabric grow bags are much better at controlling the temperature and moisture content of your growing medium than traditional plastic pots. The fabric will keep your plant warm in cold weather and cool in hot sun so it doesnt overheat. (ps: cloth bags may need to be watered more often, as the porous material is less likely to hold as much water as the old plastic potting material.) A visualization window helps the grower observe root structure and growth. When the vegetables are ripe, you dont need to dig out the whole plant, just open the window, dig out a little soil and potatoes or other vegetables and fruits and then close it for the next use. Color: black.
