Detail
Green Mountain is a dense, upright, evergreen boxwood. This slow-growing hybrid shrub can eventually reach heights of 5 to 7 ft. Its naturally cone-shaped habit makes it an excellent choice for topiary forms, container planting, or use as a hedge in formal gardens. It works well to outline and separate flower beds. Be cautious when pruning; doing so too early in spring can damage or kill tender new growth if a late spring frost occurs. While the foliage may bronze in harsh winters, it will return to a vibrant green color in early spring.
