Tropic Beauty, developed by breeder Dr. Robert Rouse from the University of Florida, produces a medium-sized, red-skinned peach. It is soft, melting, semi-freestone with yellow center peach with excellent flavor. It is self-pollinating and ripens mid-May. Requires only 150 chill hours. One of the very best low chill peaches for central and south Florida and south Texas. At maturity, it can reach a height of 12 ft. to 15 ft. and an equal spread.
