The Weeping Yoshino Cherry is a deciduous tree with a dramatic and graceful weeping habit. Blooming in early spring, its pendulous bare branches get smothered with generous clusters of brilliant white blossoms. The trees bark exhibits a glossy quality and its foliage is dark green in the Summer and yellow in the fall. Along with its attractive shape, this tree is easy to grow and does well in drought conditions. These qualities make the Weeping Yoshino a great specimen tree. The tree has a medium growth rate and is hardy to -05° (Zones 5-8). It can reach a height of 20 ft. to 30 ft. and a spread of 15 ft. to 20 ft. For planting, the Weeping Yoshino prefers full Sun and moist, well-drained soil.
