The metamorphosis of butterflies symbolizes transformation, hope, and new beginnings. Most butterflies live only a few days, perhaps as long as a month in some species. The exception is the migrating monarch which can live up to 9-months. Enough actuarial speculation on butterflies. Their mere existence is magnificent, and provides a lesson for living in the present and bringing beauty to others while asking nothing in return. Our plaque is a reminder to embrace the beauty and fragility of life.
