This large outdoor electrical box is designed to secure and protect temporary cord connections from the elements. Featuring a transparent lid, it allows light to pass through, enabling photocell light sensors in dusk-to-dawn timers to work flawlessly while providing visibility to monitor connections without opening the cover. With its spacious size of 12.5 x 8.5 x 5 in. and 6 cable entry ports (4 front and 2 side), it accommodates power strips, timers, plugs, extension cords, and large adapters. The box is crafted from heavy-duty reinforced PP material, offering excellent resistance against rain, snow, dust, dirt, and UV rays. Its IP54 waterproof rating is achieved through a combination of secure clips, a tightly sealing lid, and durable rubber gaskets. The side ports are designed for cables up to 10AWG/3C or Φ18mm, while the front ports fit cables up to 12AWG/3C or Φ12mm, providing versatile compatibility for a range of electrical setups. This enclosure is easy to use: place the connection inside, secure the cords with the clamps, and mount the box on a wall using the dual mounting holes. It is ideal for indoor and outdoor applications, including powering garden tools, holiday lights, landscape decorations, pool pumps, patio heaters, air conditioners, and more.
