Whole-House Fans are ideal in climates where its not necessary to run the air conditioner regularly to cool the living space; or if you want to use the air conditioner less frequently. The fans install in the attic above a central hallway. Open up the windows inside the house, turn on the fan and it pulls in cooler outdoor air to replace the warm indoor air, dumping it into the attic.
