Melamine Plastic Grit is the most aggressive plastic abrasive when a fast strip rate of soft metals is desired. Melamine is used to clean, strip and de-burr soft metal substrates without generating heat that can warp the surface. Melamine can also be used to remove paint, oxidation and some surface rust. Melamine produces very little dust and improves visibility in a blast cabinet. Melamine is typically used in a blast cabinet or where the abrasive is being recycled.
