The premium installation kit for 42 in. Amana brand PTACs includes everything required for new PTAC installations; the wall sleeve, exterior architectural grille, and drain kit. The wall sleeve is insulated and comes from the factory with a pre-installed weather guard. It is constructed of G90 HDG galvanized steel with a baked corrosion-inhibiting urethane primer and baked-polyester topcoat enamel. Dimensions of the wall sleeve are: 16-1/16 in. H x 14-1/8 in. D x 42 in. W which are industry accepted. The architectural exterior grille has an attractive louvered design and is constructed of extruded aluminum architectural grille with anodized aluminum finish, and a baked-on Stonewood beige paint finish. The condensate drain kit attaches to the wall sleeve for controlled internal, or external disposal of condensate. During cooling mode, condensate water drains from the PTAC chassis into the sleeve, and the drain kit routes condensate water to a suitable location to comply with local codes where applicable. The kit is field installed, and must be installed prior to chassis and grille installation.
