Our recommended drill sizes, whether 31/64 (12.3 mm) or 1/2 (12.7 mm) in diameter, will help you successfully complete the hole and prepare for installation. The base and flanges are made of heavy-duty steel with the AMA-2604 powder coating, which provides 5 times the outdoor exposure and 2 times the humidity exposure of the AMA-2603 standard for durability beyond imagination. The interlock cover is made of PA66+30% glass fiber, which is strong and light.
