A bulls horn variety (named for its elongated shape), its deliciously sweet from the time the fruit forms. If you let the peppers mature until theyre deep red, youll experience an intensely sweet flavor. Carmen was created to bear fruit even in cooler growing conditions, making it a terrific choice for Northern gardens with short growing seasons. Everywhere else, it produces beautiful harvests all season long until frost arrives. It also works well in containers. Hybrid. Plant in full sun, 18 in. to 24 in. apart.
