Detail
A short-leaf fountain grass, it gets its name from the tufted seed heads that look like a bunch of bunny tails sticking out from the leaves. This variety only reaches 18 in. in height, and due to its small size, is particularly well-suited for rock gardens, borders, foundation plantings, or garden beds. The seed heads start to come out in the middle of summer, and the foliage turns golden-brown in the fall. Useful for adding interest and texture to containers. Fairly drought tolerant once established.
