A semi-double Peony that doesnt need staking. Cora Louise is a late midseason Itoh Peony, with pure white petals and bright purple centers with yellow highlights. Itoh Peonies grow like herbaceous peonies: they die back to the ground in the Winter and bloom like crazy in the spring, but their stems are much sturdier and can hold several large flowers without breaking. The flowers are rather large, often reaching between 6 in. to 8 in. Dia and can last for up to a week if cut in the bud, making them great for cut arrangements, too.
