A stunning purple Early Tulip with an elegant yellow base. Purple Prince starts to bloom in early- to mid- spring, with beautiful bright-purple flowers held high by a sturdy stem. Like other tulips, it is very easy to grow and an excellent choice for cut flowers, container planting and Winter forcing. Tulips grow faster and have richer color in full Sun, but partial shade can extend their bloom time while still offering a colorful addition to your garden. While these bulbs are best planted in the fall, they only need a few months of growth and can usually be planted up to Christmas.
