A fragrant broad-leaf evergreen native to the Mediterranian. This plant is grown commercially for its aromatic leaves, which are used extensively in French, Spanish and Italian cuisine. It grows best in semi-acidic soil, with frequent watering and short dry periods in between. Great for topiary or planted in the ground, but for cooler climates, we recommend planting in large containers to make it easier to keep it safe from the cold.
