When installing or repairing a chain link fence, high quality Everbilt chain link fittings provide long-lasting stability to your project. Everbilt 1-5/8 in Fence Post Eye Top Post Cap sits on top of the line posts and has an opening for a top rail to slide through. One of the loop caps is needed for each line post in your chain link fencing plan. The eye top is made from aluminum and is designed to resist weathering and rust and increase longevity of the metal fence fittings for outdoor use. Patented swaged technology provides a very snug fit between caps and posts and helps prevent rust and corrosion inside fence posts (US 11,913,246 B2). This chain link fence hardware will fit on top of a 1-5/8 in. Dia line post. The opening will accommodate a 1-3/8 in. top rail.
