Black Fence Post Eye Top Post Cap sits on top-of-the-line posts and has an opening for a top rail to slide through. One of the loop caps is needed for each line post in your chain link fencing plan. The eye is made from aluminum and has a black coating that is designed to resist weathering and rust and increase longevity of the metal fence fittings for outdoor use. Patented swaged technology provides a very snug fit between caps and posts and helps prevent rust and corrosion inside fence posts (US 11,913,246 B2). The eye top also protects your line posts from filling up with debris. This chain link fence hardware will fit on top of a 1-5/8 in. diameter line post.
